Kahuna Bodywork Massage Treatments

Kahuna Bodywork massage is a journey into yourself. With a wealth of experience, I am adept at opening spiritual doorways for you.

Breath by breath, you release the surface layers of day-to-day thinking and drop into a deep sense of who you are, into a place that’s beyond the details of the story of your life. It is a place beyond the day to day demands of all your responsibilities—relationships, work, kids, no kids, physical pain, discomfort, unease, stress, anxiety and depression.

It’s a magical place of time where your body-mind can heal itself. Long rhythmic strokes above and below the full length of your body lull you into a deep state of relaxation. Body, mind, heart and soul reconnect and realign, bringing a deep sense of wholeness and healing.

What Is A Typical  Kahuna Bodywork Treatment?

While every treatment is different, there are a few things that are good to know before you start:

Traditionally, although Kahuna is received without any clothes on, your modesty is always protected with a sarong. Although always sensuous, Kahuna is not sexual.

Kahuna Bodywork is practised on a bare, heated massage table. You will be covered by a sarong.

The massage is done both underneath and on top of the body. We’ll go under your neck, belly, legs and back at various times. This may be unusual for you, perhaps at times ticklish, but always incredibly nurturing.

The belly is always touched. Even if we don’t work deeply into the belly, Kahuna always includes some kind of belly work, so it’s best not to have a big meal just before a treatment. Save that for after: enjoying a wholesome meal can be a great way to ground your energy and approach the next day with positivity and poise.

Why Get A Kahuna Bodywork Treatment?

So, why have a Kahuna Bodywork? And why with me? I’ve been a Kahuna bodyworker for seven years now. I never really intended to be a bodyworker, but true to the Spirit of Aloha, it has been radically transforming for me, and once I started, I couldn’t stop. It has helped me find a stillness, peace and love I didn’t know I needed.

Now, combined with a passion for understanding my own and general human experience, I work with the body and the mind to facilitate a better, easier, more aware life. Kahuna can help. Although it’s not a silver bullet, or a panacea for all your troubles, it can give you breathing space. It is imbued with a little bit of magic that is hard to put into words. Kahuna bodywork embodies the powerful Hawaiian Huna philosophy. It is sacred work, so quite often it is accompanied by breath works, prayer and songs.

Kahuna Bodywork can support you with:

  • Injuries and Scar tissues

  • Muscles Soreness and Tightness

  • Range of Movement and Flexibility

  • Detoxification

  • Digestion

  • Relaxation

  • Emotional Healing and Release

  • Energy

Stay hydrated to facilitate detoxification process. Avoid big meals and alcohol on the same day as this will be to heavy on your system.

Some massages challenge you not to scream and grit your teeth. This was very different. Every touch is respectful, peaceful, calming, caring and meditative. A special experience.
